Arm yourself with patience and a cup of tea ... there is enough to read ... ;-)

I was born in Cesena on August 10, 1973, and soon I developed an interest in music, which led my parents to enroll me at the Conservatory of Music B. Maderna where I studied oboe, graduating in 1993.

Meanwhile, I was interested in other instruments, which I then learned as self-taught, such as keyboard, acoustic guitar and bass.

In 1990 I started playing the 'piano-bar', a passion born by watching musicians playing in pubs.

I begin with a Roland E-5 playing all strictly live. Soon there came the backing tracks, the midi-files, but I have NEVER used it. The LIVE music has to be PLAYED, no bananas. But Roland had limits, which led me to switch to a fully programmable keyboard, the Solton MS5, a trademark that I carried on over the years (though it changed its name to Ketron, from the laboratories it's designed) til today, and with my keyboard I can really play everything, from Italian music to rock music ... I'm not mentioning artists' names I perform for too many they are ...

In 1996, playing a Depeche Mode song during an evening, I get acquainted with two guys, who will make me land, making me a singer of their project in the world of music without much luck, but this will give me the opportunity to make interesting knowledges.

Countermove have a single and a videoclip that is really strong on the radio and on TMC2 (later MTV), Myself Free, but the album, ready to be released, will never see the light ...   However, as I said earlier, this experience led me to work for 5 years at the Altro Mondo Studios in Rimini, where I see the passage and make the knowledge of several DJs of the time (resident Luca Belloni, Tony H, Gianni Vancini, others I now don't remember, but) amongst all Gigi D'Agostino, with whom I collaborate with the role of singer and author / co-author of some songs. The studio experience really becomes a training that will become a treasure for what's to come.

While this all happens, I continue to play pubs, abandoning oboe :-(.

In 2006/7 I am lucky enough to be part of one of the most prestigious and difficult venues in Cesena, the Teatro Verdi, where I play live for five years during dinner on Fridays and occasionally on Saturdays. And it is thanks to the Teatro Verdi that SIT (We Are Three) born, a trio of pop/rock mold which offers the alternative aspect keyboardist/pianoman, and to totally differs, the line-up is the more classic: vocals / bass (me), electric guitar (Andrea Zammarchi) and drums (Marco Ventrucci). I do not know where I learned to play the bass and sing simultaneously ... they say it's not easy and I confirm it, but I can! A repertoire that blink the eye to rock / new wave 80's, reaching today's hits, from Duran Duran to Muse, from Dire Straits to Green Day, and we hardly rock!

Over the course of a few years I have been acquainted with several musicians playing with SIT for pubs, and to cut it short, after many years of experience I gather repertoires and capabilities in several targeted projects, creating tribute bands of artists that I keep in my heart from all time.

So, as a keyboardist / singer with Stefano Zani on guitars, with whom I have collaborated in 2004, and with Luca Gardini on saxophone, I give birth to THE CRAZY DIAMONDS - A Small Pink Floyd Tribute; an evening entirely dedicated to the Pinkfloydian repertoire.

With Marco Franchini on guitar and Oriano Righi on drums and me on voice and bass, takes shape a tribute to Sting, Andy Summers & Stewart Copeland's band, which was The Police, and calling the project THE Outlandos, and we also have a Facebook page.

Playing one night with SIT I've been asked to be the front-man for a tribute to Coldplay, a band I don't dislike at all - there are so many hits I play in my pianoman repertoire - and since I already know several tracks I accept, and in 2013 take off PLAYCOLD with the succession of members exchanges, pauses of reflection, but still more active than ever.

My passion for the Depeche Mode is not secret and the fact that I play them during my solo performances. Meeting the same passion during a chat with a manager of a pub I was in for one of the above-mentioned projects, the idea was to make an evening of all DM music, but not solo ... the idea of contacting Daniele Zandoli , a guitar player who had already played with me, and in no time the DUO FOR THE MASSES - an evening of Depeche Mode songs  is born: two hours of music dedicated to the band that's in my heart since I was a child.

One of the luckiest meeting, however, is with a musician that if I could, I would put him in the coffee: Andy Andy G 'Guerrini. By surmounting the way we met, the main thing is what came out matching my voice and keyboards with its trumpets and flugelhorn. Two are the projects that we're involved: SteSSidea (Music From the World), where we span in any artist, author or genre, joking with a poppy jazz or jazzy pop! - in two versions: only with an electric piano, voice and brass, or with the help of my faithful Ketron rhythmic set.

The other project, of record type, since 2007, DIDASCALIS , sees him sometimes as co-author, sometimes guest but more and more an integral part during live performances, joined by other musicians collaborators depending on the situation.

I'm called to cover the role of "Keyboards Guru" for the 2017 Rockin1000 edition, while I manage and create other projects I'm not listing.

So, when composing music, playing it live, playing other songs alone or along with stunning musicians, in mixed setlists or dedicated to a band, I'm A musician.

All this, extra-musicians included, is pretty much required in the world of entertainment music for ceremonies ... Weddings to be understood! ... and it also seems that the people who chose us as the soundtrack of 'THEIR DAY' are also enthusiastic ...

But I do not say it: it is written here at this link ! :-)

And for now I stop here with the BIO ... if I'm going to want to add more details, or I'll remember something I forgot to write, I'll just update it!

For now, what you need to know is how to do what I do, and I believe that in the audio and video sections, it is evident in the obvious!

Thanks for reading! ^_^
